July 23rd - Rest day in Teo / Faramello

We are taking a day off.  Very small town, nothing to do but rest, read, and write.

We had coffee downstairs but knew we wanted to go to Mamba jamba for breakfast. Did not disappoint. Luis is amazing. Avocado toast is the best.  More pilgrims came and joined for coffee, toast, and water.  We sat for a long while, writing and enjoying the sunshine.

It rained early this morning, a very hard rain, it woke me up.  Made me really glad we weren't walking.   The rain cleaned the air, roads, and some pilgrims as well.  Many of the pilgrims walking by were drenched. Thus far, we haven't had rain to walk in but it looks like we might get some over the weekend.

The rest of the day was peaceful and enjoyable.

Our last evening in Teo saw a large group (about 15) of young people from Germany.  They arrived at the albergue and almost all showered quickly and took long naps.  We were now sharing our room with 2 very nice young men.  Both quiet and respectful of space.

Another good day on the books.
